Senior Accountant

My client a leader in the Pharma sector has an urgent requirement for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.Super opportunity coming into 2024! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of group consolidated accounts and annual financial statement preparation, have exposure to managing complex intercompany transactions, a working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, and an understanding of tax/VAT at a local level. The role requires a candidate with a can-do attitude who can bring fresh eyes and add value to an already high performing finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director the candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development of the company’s finance function. Your Role: Ø Preparation of monthly standalone accounts for 3 entities (internal) Ø Deep involvement in quarterly group consolidation (external bank reporting) Ø Key contributor in the preparation of annual group financial statements (statutory) Ø Preparation of monthly cash forecasting for Irish entity (feeding into consolidated view) Ø Responsible for intercompany transactions and review Ø Responsible for Partner audits Ø Oversight and liaise with external advisors re transfer pricing Ø Support annual budget and forecasting (LBE) process Ø Support FP&A function Ø Drive audit preparation and execution Ø Oversight for preparation and filing of VAT returns Project Work: Ø Review/improve and document finance SOP’s Ø Central role in continued role out of new ERP (go-live 02/01/2024) Ø Deep involvement in continued finance systems/process improvements Ø Transfer pricing documentation review Your Skills: Ø Qualified Accountant with minimum 2 years PQE Ø Currently (or in previous roles) responsible for/exposure to group consolidations Ø Strong knowledge intercompany transactions / eliminations Ø Exposure to FP&A processes Ø Working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and the application of same Ø Experience in Pharma Industry (nice to have) Ø Technical excellence (Microsoft suite/ERP’s) Your Profile: Ø Can do attitude Ø Team player Ø Opiniated and driven Ø Always seeking opportunities to add value to the business Ø Great communicator at all levels For more information, please contact rachel.walsh@cpl.ie #LI-RW2#J-18808-Ljbffr
