Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities Responsible for Group Technology data governance and lead data related initiatives
- Perform data governance and drive execution at group level for Group Technology
- Work with technology data stewards on data governance across teams to drive data governance, controls and compliance to Group Data Policies and Standards
- Provides guidance in executing data governance standards to ensure security, quality, and proper usage of data assets
- Participates in the group data steward community to promote data driven cultures across Group Technology
- Collaborate and partner with DBS Group Planning to drive engagement with technology teams and to manage bank wide data related initiatives such as Internal Reporting and Regulatory Reporting journeys
- Lead and participate in data related projects with cross functional team members within Group Technology
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience with domain knowledge in financial institutions
- Sound understanding of Data management principles and banking services
- Familiarity with data analysis concepts, data profiling, data quality and metadata management and data governance tools like Collibra, data warehousing and data integration
- Knowledge and application of programming language such as Python, Shell scripting, SQL and Superset, will be desired
- Good organisational skills and interpersonal skills

- Self-starter and extremely hands on in the management of projects/initiatives
