Group Operations Data Steward and Data Management, Operations COO, Technology & Operations

Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure and process through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities

• Own the accountability of Group Operations data stewardship to perform effective data management and drive execution
• Provide governance on data & AI/ML use-cases to ensure that Group Operations management team, as Operations Data Owners, is compliant with Group Data Policies
• Develop policies, processes, and procedures for Ops data steward community to improve data quality, data issue handing and reporting and responsible data usage.
• Collaborate with Operations' functional teams to drive programs such as Regulatory reporting journey, responsible data usage and data issues reporting and resolutions
• Drive and nurture robust data governance and control environment across Group Operations
• Ensure all KPIs for data governance & data security including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness and management reporting are met
• Partner across Group Operations data community (both Regional and Locations) and Group Transformation - DataFirst to ensure flow of information and delivery against KPIs
• Provide consultative thought-leadership on use of data to derive economic value

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other quantitative / computational discipline.
• Proficiency in understanding & handling of data on highly sophisticated framework implemented using Enterprise data security framework, Collibra Metadata & Cloud components.
• Detailed knowledge on broad range of functional Operations in Consumer Banking Operations, Institutional Banking Operations & Treasury & Market Operations to enable engaging discussions to solve for data issues.
• Knowledge in best practices in data governance and stewardship and have experience in data management, data cataloguing and data flow mapping
• Experience in developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures for data governance and stewardship.
• Experience in data tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Superset, Spark, SQL, python etc.
• Knowledge in data engineering processes and solutions.
• Knowledge in data quality assurance and control preferred.
