Job Description: Sun Life International is a key player in the global High-Net-Worth insurance industry with strong growth and market demand for our services. We are seeking a talented and experienced Client Experience professional, with a passion for client-centred design and an ability to understand and inform the client need. With responsibility for Client Experience, you will be instrumental in creating innovative and empowering solutions that will transform the end-to-end client experience. Working with our clients, multi-disciplinary agile teams and organisational stakeholders, you will lead all stages of the design lifecycle, from initial research and strategy to ideation, prototyping, testing, and final delivery. This role will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to significantly impact how Sun Life International transforms its business operations and client experience. Qualifications and Experience
  • 8 or more years’ experience working as a Client Experience Designer in a client-facing organization, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in applying recognized design thinking frameworks in support of transformational change programs and initiatives.
  • Skilled in the collection and use of customer research to confidently support design recommendations.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro etc.
  • Extensive experience in leading client discovery as foundation for developing future state client journey proposals.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Expertise in preparing and leading design workshops with cross-functional stakeholders for collaborative solution development. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing past client experience design projects.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Champion a client-centric culture within the organization, fostering a deep understanding and empathy towards our client’s needs.
  • Promote design concepts that reduce complexity and simplifies the overall client experience.
  • Manage client research to discover insights, define personas and map their journeys, to enable the transformation of the end-to-end client experience .
  • Conduct interactive workshops to assess current state capabilities, identify future opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to all stakeholders.
  • Define, develop and socialise the vision for innovative new solutions at all levels within the organization.
  • Lead the design of client experiences for an entire product/platform and/or client journey.
  • Develop a catalogue of client journey maps and synthesised research findings that feed the roadmaps and backlogs of agile scrum teams.
  • Support agile teams in the iterative delivery of their solutions, especially focusing on the acquisition of data and insights to shape future direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Executive Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Distribution, and IT, to create client experience strategies.
  • Design solution idea proposals, prototypes, mock-ups, and other related design artefacts that align with Sun Life International’s branding requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and industry trends to effectively address client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to client experience
