Senior Art Director

The Role We are seeking a dynamic Senior Art Director with a strong digital background and a proven track record in conceptual design. The ideal candidate will lead our creative team, driving innovative and visually compelling digital experiences that align with our brand's aesthetic and strategic objectives. The Senior Art Director will be responsible for overseeing the conception, development, and execution of all visual assets across our digital platforms. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional creative skills and the ability to deliver impactful, engaging, and conversion-oriented designs. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative vision and strategy for all digital initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and excellence in design across all digital touchpoints.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, high-quality digital design concepts that resonate with our target audience and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and development teams to conceptualize and execute compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate our brand's story and key messages.
• Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing constructive feedback, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence, and nurturing talent to deliver outstanding results.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices within the eCommerce and digital marketing space, integrating these insights into our creative processes.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from ideation and conceptualization to final execution and delivery, ensuring all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and other third-party partners to deliver exceptional creative solutions that align with project timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Ability to see artwork through from concept to finished product.
• Adobe Creative Suite – must have a firm grasp of all the tools of the trade and be able to use design programs to create great work.
• Working knowledge and practical understanding of Figma.
• Must know how to apply a CI to the design environment and produce work that is always on-brand.
• Proficiency in motion graphics and 3D design.
• Strong concept development and design ability.
• Proactive thinker.
• Able to lead a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of online design.
• Keeps current about marketing and design trends, visual styles, technological advances, social media and their influence and applicability.

Output:

• Ability to design and develop compelling creative across all media
• Rollout campaigns and creative executions
• Lead and contribute to the development of a range of creative executions for each project and be able to effectively collaborate
• Understanding of digital design and rollout of digital creative
• Responsible for digital designs and graphic executions
• Assisting in developing design elements for an online shopping experience as part of the UX
• Own projects with various internal stakeholders

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zendesk, Atlassian, Jira as well as other project management tools (advantageous)
• Tech Obsessed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in photoshop, InDesign, illustrator, and range of Adobe design tools as well as Figma
• Retail design and rollout experience
• Managed teams
• Managed multiple complex projects at once
• Advertising Agency experience 8 years +
