Experience: +3 Years’ relevant experience working in a similar role is essential / Accounting Technician, Diploma or Higher Qualification would be an advantage. The Role: We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Shared Services Finance team in SVP House, Dublin 1 . The post holder will have responsibility for providing financial, procurement and legal matters administrative support to the Finance team. This role includes broad experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations and the Donations process plus experience of specific processes for the Charity sector. The person will provide additional support to the accounting team to ensure transaction processes are completed accurately and timely. The role provides an efficient and reliable Voucher service to East Region Conferences that supports the membership with an essential client service. - +3 Years' experience working in a similar role.
- Experience in Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Bank Reconciliations.
- Experience with high volume data analysis and excel formulas. (V lookups, Pivot tables & sum if analysis).
- Experience of working in a client facing role, dealing with queries and managing client expectations.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls.
- Excellent comprehension of English in all forms (reading, writing, verbal) is essential.
- An ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders and to manage on-going working relationships and work plans.
- Process analysis and documentation skills.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Previous legal administration works desirable
- Accounting, finance or legal administration training and experience, would be an advantage.
- Accounting Technician, diploma, or higher qualification would be an advantage.
- Experience with financial accounting and reporting systems, Agresso or others, would be desirable
- Experience of working in the community/ voluntary sector is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience interpreting legal documentation would be desirable.
