Events Executive Job Description
Oversee all aspects of sponsorships and strategic sales for all events, while working
closely with the team to ensure all goes smoothly during the event.
Sales:
1. Responsible for telesales sales of all events.
2. Develop and manage client & agency relationships.
3. Update daily & weekly sales forecasts sheets.
4. Ensuring all invoices are sent and collecting payments before the event date.
Operational:
1. Negotiate the terms of agreement; price, costs, and delivery specifications with
suppliers.
2. Conduct site visits when needed.
3. Coordinate with venues on event floor plans and set up, menus, rooming lists,
final numbers and any additional needs.
4. Liaise with suppliers, raising purchase orders and confirming requirements and
ensure team handling is fully briefed.
5. Build and maintain working relationships with external partners.
6. Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
7. Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
8. Update daily/weekly event task sheet.
9. Gathering market and customer information to stay relevant in the market.
10. Work closely with all other departments involved in the event to execute
assignments for the event.
11. Handle all other logistic tasks assigned to you by the line manager.
