As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the INFRASTRUCTURE PLATFORMS team, youapply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise. Job responsibilities
- Researches, design and engineernetwork perimeter DMZ switching and routing environment
- Designs solutions and introduce new feature requirements for clients
- Develops and maintain scripts for device pave/repave and automatize day to day tasks
- Develops engineering standards and artifacts for certified products
- Performs hardware and software certifications
- Acts as an escalation point for Network Operations and Service Delivery teams
- Coordinates cross-team and collaborate with stakeholders and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Formal training or certification on Infrstructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience on DMZ architecture and Cisco datacenter fabric
- In-depth knowledge and experience on BGP, OSFP, EIGRP, VRF, TCP/IP, ISP routing
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/DevOps languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
- Understanding of micro-services, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, APIs
- Must have good communication skills
- Experience with network security technologies such as firewall, proxy, and load balancer
- Experience with internet services traverse thru the DMZ
- Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum
- CCIE is a plus
