As a CGIU Bid Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in our Sales Consulting division, providing critical technical and sales support for global Telecom/Communications bids. You'll be the linchpin of our presales team, delivering precise responses to customer RFx (RFP/RFI/RFQ etc) documents and helping shape compelling solutions for their needs. Role Overview: CGIU Bid Consultant: Bid Support function broadly comprises of the following tasks.
- Crafting responses to RFx, focusing on addressing functional and technical requirements in RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc., particularly for the Applications business covering CX/BSS/OSS portfolios.
- Developing and maintaining a functional FAQ repository for products to ensure consistent responses in RFx and reduce response time.
- Creating and updating standard product/solution descriptions.
- Contributing to the development of solution architecture for specific opportunities or bids.
- Dive deep into customer requirements, mapping their challenges to our product solutions with precision and insight.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and compelling responses, from sales force to product management.
- Craft timely and high-quality responses to RFx documents, showcasing our products' value proposition effectively.
- Serve as the go-to expert on our products and solutions, providing end-to-end guidance to our sales force.
- Curate and maintain technical materials to streamline the bid process and enhance response quality.
- Stay ahead of the competition, understanding their offerings and positioning our solutions as the superior choice.
- 5+ years in the software industry, with 2+ years in presales, specifically RFx response and bid support within the communications/telecom sector.
- Deep understanding of CX/CRM/BSS processes, including marketing, sales, omni-channel management, and customer service.
- Familiarity with telecom domains such as 3G/4G/5G, broadband, fixed, cable, and IoT.
- Knowledge of industry standards like TMForum ODF/ODA and assets such as eTOM, SID, and Open APIs.
- Preferable experience with cloud-native principles/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with following solutions or competitive solutions is advantageous.

- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
