VAM Systems is currently looking for a Data Operations Lead Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Qualification

BE Computer Science and Engineering
Professional Training:
1. SQL Development
2. SAS EG
3. SAS DI
4. Object-oriented Programming (e.g. C#, Java)
Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
- OR equivalent
Responsibilities

Stabilization of daily data and information delivery
Continuous improvement of data loading operations
Improvement in performance of daily schedules
Improvement of monitoring within data operations across all stages of daily information delivery
Administration of core databases
Establishing best engineering practices in collaboration with developing data engineers
Extending existing and establishing new controls to improve the quality, availability, and clarity of the Data Platforms operations
Steering data operations engineers and performance optimization
Steering data operations engineers with coding standards and practices
Coordination and liaising between different teams to resolve source data dependencies and daily scheduling bottlenecks
Communicating and collaborating with other departments
